Growing Our Futures Fund

In 2021, the PF Olsen Board pledged $8,000 per annum to a fund to support young people into a career in forestry and/or promote environmental and community initiatives across our New Zealand based business.

The Growing Our Futures Fund is managed by a PF Olsen governance team under the direction of the CEO.

Malcolm Lilico PF Olsen Fund

In 2013, the Malcolm Lilico/PF Olsen Fund was established as a result of a bequest of $50,000 from the estate of Malcolm Lilico, matched by a donation from PF Olsen of $50,000.

The Malcolm Lilico PF Olsen Fund is a Named Endowment Fund. Donations to this fund are invested and managed by the Geyser Community Foundation.

Fund Distributions

Distributions from both these funds are available for distribution annually to:

Support environmental or community initiatives that are aligned to PF Olsen and the forestry sector. These could be national or local projects, or initiatives led by PF Olsen.
Support our future foresters into the industry through education (e.g. through scholarships for training / leadership / course related equipment).

What have we achieved in 2022

We have supported our community by volunteering:
