Certification is becoming increasingly relevant in the New Zealand forestry scene.
PF Olsen Limited is committed to sustainable forest and land management, through:

- Where appropriate, applying the Principles and Criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council® across forest management
- Careful use of natural & physical resources for the production of food and fibre.
PF Olsen manages a group certification scheme, which enables forest growers to achieve certification. Certified growers have access to markets and price premiums for logs, as well as confirmation that they are contributing to the sustainable management of New Zealand’s environment.
The scheme also provides certification for businesses that add value to forestry products.
