Ross joined PF Olsen in 1995 after graduating from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Forestry Science degree. He began his career with PF Olsen in Blenheim as a forestry supervisor and assistant in our seed orchard. He then moved to Rotorua where he undertook a consulting role and has gained valuable experience and knowledge from PF Olsen's company founders and other talented staff. In his prior role Ross managed the Central North Island forestry team and has worked with staff throughout the business. Ross has been a company director since 2011 and CEO from May 2020.

Wu worked in the forest industry and the renewable energy sector prior to joining PF Olsen in 2022. He held several roles in engineering, operations, commercial and senior management during that time in New Zealand, USA and Australia. He brought with him business leadership, management experience and commercial strengths to PF Olsen. In his current role, Wu is responsible for the delivery of strategic business assets including human resources, forestry consulting, nurseries, seed production and remote sensing technology. Wu graduated with MBA (distinction) and Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies from the University of Waikato, BE (Electrical) (Hons) and Diploma in Pulp and Paper from the University of Auckland.

Scott believes that forestry is a life choice rather than a career and feels privileged to work for a leading company in such a positive industry.
He is experienced and competent in all facets of forest management, including project management, budgeting, and reporting. Scott was responsible for all PF Olsen’s operations in the top half of the South Island before moving to Rotorua in 2016 to be more involved in sales and marketing and client relationships. He has specialist skills in log marketing, stumpage appraisal and maximizing financial returns from a forest resource. Scott’s monthly log market report in PF Olsen’s monthly Wood Matters e-magazine is regarded as the most comprehensive report in the industry.
When not working he can usually be found coaching on a football field somewhere.

Born on Gisborne's East Coast, Hamish is no stranger to the NZ forestry industry with over 20 years of operational experience after completing a Bachelor of Forestry Science from Canterbury University. Hamish is based at PF Olsen's head office in Rotorua and is currently Acting General Manager of Operations.
As GM of Operations Hamish is responsible for overseeing and ensuring successful forestry and harvesting operations across PF Olsen's regional locations. His time at PF Olsen as National Operations Quality Manager has enabled him to ensure that PF Olsen services provided to clients are of the highest quality whilst also meeting regulatory and commercial objectives.
Alongside Hamish's operational experience he also has extensive technical experience leading research and development, remote sensing and tree breeding programmes. Hamish is also currently Director of the Radiata Pine Breeding Company of which PF Olsen is a shareholder.
