What is included in a Forestry Appraisal?

  • For Farmlands Shareholders, a free phone consultation and basic advice on planting suitability and ETS requirements and opportunities.
  • Once engaged, we will conduct a field visit to assess potential planting area and gather afforestation cost information (E.g. spray requirements, access, site suitability etc).
  • Property specific analysis of potential returns from carbon and timber, and optimum management regime analysis. The results are presented in cashflow terms and EBIT equivalent, so farmers can evaluate how forestry will perform on their property.
  • Final report summarising the results.
