Mokamoka Forest is located 1 hour north of Napier on a very high growth site index and is comprised of approximately 276.7ha (NSA) of Pinus radiata established in 1995.

This very well tendered forest is pruned to an average height of 6.3m and recent PHI indicates a standing volume of 735m3/ha at age 27. This area of the Hawkes Bay is renowned for producing high per hectare yields.

Situated 16km off SH2 (Napier - Wairoa), key features of this outstanding forest include:
 
 - Excellent network of side x side suitable tracks 
 - Close proximity to markets - 59km to Port of Napier, 43km to Pan Pac
 - 6.3m average pruned height
 - Approximately 80% suitable for ground-based harvesting
 - Predominantly low and moderate ESC.
 - Generous stumpage agreement term ending 31 March 2026
