Case Studies

Highly favourable result from harvesting with a financial outcome that exceeded expectations was credited to the diligent management of costs and marketing.

Owner's Keith and Marie Dolman bought a block to plant and with the help from their family tended it through to 2018 when harvesting was scheduled to commence.

Harvesting was due to start in September 2018, right when we had just had a wobble in the market however Keith and Marie decided to continue as planned as the market commentary indicated the dip would be short lived and our contractor was already there finishing a neighbouring block. The market recovered well, as the results show!

A couple of late wet weather events caused some issues, but careful management of the infrastructure through this time minimised the costs. Keith and Marie sold the block during the harvest, and are very happy with the results of their investment.
